About this opportunity:
We are seeking exceptional students to join our firm as Quantitative Research Interns. While prior finance experience is not required, successful candidates must possess a strong interest in learning about finance, cryptocurrency markets, and quantitative modeling. This internship offers hands-on experience in developing predictive models for digital asset markets and blockchain-based financial products.
You will:
Develop computer-based models that seek to predict movements in cryptocurrency and digital asset markets
Analyze and apply various types of data to financial markets through rigorous exploration and innovative thinking
Build and test quantitative trading strategies using historical and real-time market data
Conduct statistical analysis on large datasets from multiple cryptocurrency exchanges
Present research findings and model performance to technical and business teams
Explore applications of machine learning techniques to cryptocurrency market prediction
Document research methodologies and maintain code repositories for reproducible research

Your Skills and Experience:
Currently pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degrees from a leading university in related fields (Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Financial Engineering,...)
Expected graduation in late 2025 or 2026
Demonstrated proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, C++, R, Rust,...)
Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems
Strong mathematical and statistical background
Experience with data analysis and statistical modeling
Interest in financial markets, particularly cryptocurrency and blockchain technology
Knowledge of machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) preferred
Experience with data visualization tools (matplotlib, plotly, Tableau) preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Good English reading and writing skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage project timelines
